Stopping power is incredibly strong and fade-free, especially for my heavily modified vehicle which is extremely heavy. <td rowspan="2" bgcolor="#99ffcc">Four years ago I purchased new slotted/dimpled rotors and green stuff pads for the front brakes of my Buick Park Avenue. (I sold it a year later to go overseas.) It was not a sports car, but a great 79.667 mph interstate car. What a serious improvement in stopping power and confidence after adding the EBC rotors and pads. I&#8217;m sure they are great for sports cars, but if you drive a large heavy car or SUV, you will never regret replacing your factory (or Chinese made replacement) pads and rotors with the EBC brand. Now I&#8217;m returning to the States and in the market for a new (used) Buick &#8211; I hope the brakes are worn out on my &#8220;new&#8221; car so I can immediately install the EBC brakes without feeling wasteful. Highly recommended &#8211; a painless way to increase driving pleasure, confidence, and safety.</td>

<td rowspan="2" bgcolor="#ccffcc">My &#8216;05 Freestyle&#8217;s OEM brakes were horrible. Warped after 20,000 miles, they were turned and were bad again 10,000 miles later. I ordered a complete set of new Sport discs and Green Stuf pads. This cars stops rock solid now. I have put over 50,000 miles on them and no change in performance. Every time it goes in for service, the people at my Ford dealer call everyone over to see a family wagon with performance brakes. These are so good, I am about to upgrade my Mini Cooper S as well.</td>

<blockquote><p>This years annual CSi Mega Show was held on February 27th &amp; 28th at the Competition Specialties headquarters in Auburn Washington.</p>
<p>This was my first time to this area of the country and to this particular show. Upon arriving at the show we were welcomed by a group of smiling faces and KenWoomer himself.</p>
<p>The layout of show was clean and organized and seemed to have a common thread – trucks and off-road goodies. Personally I’m a huge fan of big off-road trucks, tires and accessories! Yes things that rumble loud on the road and dirt and shout “Get outta my way I’m coming through!” LOL</p>
<p>The show was open to the public and offered some wonderful show specials to all in attendance. They also featured an on going raffle both Sat and Sun with tremendous gifts and prizes donated by the vendors and CSI. Including $1000 and $2000 of Super CSI Cash every hour on the hour. There were many YEEEPIES &amp; WOOOHOOOs from winners echoing through the building every hour – which gave us all a good laugh!</p>
<p>Ken and his CSI team were top notch in regards to hospitality, making all of the vendors feel welcomed and comfortable.</p>
<p>For example, they picked an awesome, hip host hotel, the airport Marriott. They made things convenient in way of transportation by providing a complimentary shuttle service to and from the event each day and used the friendly CSI delivery guys as our chauffeurs. They hosted a welcome banquet and concert the  Friday night before the show, a happy hour / mixer on Saturday night after the show, and provided lunch each day by way of a lunch area and by cart for those of us who were tied to the booth.</p>
<p>My overall impression of CSI and the individuals who work there is – they care about the customers and the people they have dealings with. We like that a lot as that is our motto as well!</p>
<p>As usual we had a tremendous amount of good feedback and comments regarding <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29t"><strong>EBC</strong></a> <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29t"><strong>Brakes</strong></a> products. <p>We were also visited by many anxious pro-drivers and race teams who wanted to know when they could get their hands on some Blue Stuff.</p>

Our customers love them and are requesting them more and more!” And friends, lemme tell yha, that’s just music to our ears.</p>
<p>As a bonus Spike TV aired the <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29tL3R2L2luZGV4LnNodG1s"><strong>PowerBlock</strong></a> episodes that I just shot with Courtney Hansen, on Sat and Sun. Most of the attendees (all  BIG TIME PowerBlock fans) viewed the episodes that morning before the event, and then…to their surprise…there I was in their home town! They gotta kick outta that and it made for some good conversations.</p>

<blockquote><p>On February 20th and 21st I was in Secaucus, New Jersey at The Meadowlands Exposition Center for the BIG Show presented by Keystone.  The Keystone BIG Shows are arguably the best trade shows for specialty automotive equipment and accessories, outside of SEMA. These are organized by <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5rZXlzdG9uZWF1dG9tb3RpdmUuY29tLw==" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Keystone Automotive Operations</strong></a>, the leading distributor and marketer of specialty auto-parts in North America.</p>
<p>As with most shows of this type there was much business taking place, networking opportunities, parties, and educational seminars. Plus demos, giveaways and raffles with great prizes, including some of the hottest products for 2010.</p>
<p>One of my favorite things was getting a sneak peak at the hottest new products for the coming year. The Big Show coordinators made this convenient to do by putting the new products in one complete section on the show floor. And because this show wasn’t opened to the public, it wasn’t as crazy or loud which made it easier to speak with the listen to the company reps about the features and benefits of these new products.</p>
<p>As with any good show, there are always automotive celebs and attractions. We just happened to be positioned across from the best ones!</p>
<p>The Edelbrock Build Live Show where attendees were able to get upclose and personal while Vic Edelbrock himself directed the build installation of a new E-Force Supercharger system on a Ford Mustang, new for 2010  in real time. Along with Vic Edelbrock’s signing and interating with all of his fans. The line wrapped around the booth with egar fans young and old. If you know and/or have ever met Vic Edelbrock, you know he’s not only a talented, mulit-skilled man, but also a happy man, who loves to joke around and sincerely engages his fans.</p>
<p>I  received an autographed gift from him, it was his book entitled Edelbrock Made In The USA. It’s a beautiful 324 page coffee table book filled with nostalgic photos, the history of this American icon, and inspiring stories from Vic’s life.  What a nice guy huh?!</p>
<p>Switching gears – we were on a high from the large amounts of terrific feedback we received from the attendees! Most of them were from the East-coast and Canada. They consisted of Speed Shops, garages, customizers, and pro-drivers. Every person who walked up kept saying that they had tried various brake pads and rotors, some were average, while some just sucked. Yet, EBC’s products worked and worked good! They are long lasting, and priced just right.</p>

<p>Most EBC rotors are made from British castings and 100% of these are precision machined in either the UK or the USA. EBC Brakes has 14 machining centres in these two countries to manufacture these precision parts. Rotors are made from high quality grey iron to exacting standards and undergo extensive testing and rigorous quality control and are then precision machined to your chosen slot or dimple pattern.</p>
<p>The dimple drilled rotor was invented by EBC back in the 90&#8217;s and has been imitated by many because of its ability to offer pad degassing without &#8220;Through Drilling&#8221; disc or rotor holes which has been shown to promote rotor cracks.</p>
<p>The wide aperture slots on the EBC units actually draw cool air under the brake pad and rotor interface and help cool the temperatures of the pad contact which can shoot up to well over 1000 degrees at the very heart of the brake pad during heavy braking and can cause brake fade or loss of brake effect.</p>
<p>These &#8220;Full sweep&#8221; slots on the EBC Sport Brake rotor also help remove dirt dust debris and water from the braking area but without doubt the MAIN benefit of such sport rotors is their ability to maintain a flat and parallel pad surface throughout the lifetime of the <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29tL3NlbGVjdG9yLnNodG1s"><strong>brake pad set</strong>.</a></p>

After installing the Yellowstuff front pads you sent and running them for a few hundred miles, all is well in my little world. I really appreciate you standing behind your products and knowing what I need to solve the problem. When I first had my EBC brakes initially installed, I posted a thread on my club site <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5yaWRnZWxpbmVvd25lcnNjbHViLmNvbS8=" target=\"_blank\"><strong>www.ridgelineownersclub.com</strong></a> detailing the install. I made sure I posted an update after you solved my problem so quickly and generously. It’s important that we support those companies that support their customers. My son has also ordered the brakes for his Acura TL and is just waiting for them to arrive. As soon as they do, I will help him install them. <p>In January I was invited to join the PowerBlock crew to be a special guest, co-host with Courtney Hansen. As the <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29tLw=="><strong>EBC Brakes</strong></a> spokesperson, I featured the <strong><a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29tLw==">EBC Brakes</a></strong> <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29tL2F1dG9tb3RpdmUvZWJjXzNnZF9zcG9ydF9yb3RvcnMvaW5kZXguc2h0bWw="><strong>sport rotors</strong></a> and pads, talked a little shop, discussed specs and install techniques, and chatted with Courtney about my 2010 EBC Brakes campaign &amp; Pep Boys tour schedule.</p>
<p>As you know, I’ve worked in and around the automotive industry for a long time. Yet, this was my first time working with RTM Productions, Courtney Hansen, and Spike TV and I’ll admit, I was a tiny bit nervous. However, weeks leading up to our shoot, the RTM producers and writers were sooo extremely professional, thorough, and friendly, my jitters were calmed as  I felt as though I had known them forever (their great sense of humor and funny jokes helped as well – lol.)</p>
<p>When I pulled into the parking lot, I was impressed with the size of the property and building. Upon walking in I see a welcome sign that lists the names of all the featured special guests that will be shooting on the PowerBlock that day (thought that was a sweet gesture) the front office woman greets me with a warm smile “welcome to RTM, we are so happy to have you here today.”   Then out walks Justin Swanson one of the producers and I get a BIG welcome squeeze!</p>
<p>Justin walks me down the hall to introduce me to the man himself Joe St. Lawrence who couldn’t have been any more hospitable. We had a nice chat  a few a laughs, and Justin offers to give me a tour of the entire facilities (including each studio, where I was able to get a sneak peak at the rebuilds and plans for each vehicle) pretty neato huh?!</p>
<p>In the waiting room, there is a large monitor where featured guests, waiting for their turn to shoot, can watch the <a href="http://www.ebcbrakesblog.com/wp-content/plugins/feed-statistics.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5lYmNicmFrZXMuY29tL3R2L2luZGV4LnNodG1s"><strong>PowerBlock</strong></a> being shot and familiarize themselves with the flow of production. I was the last guest to shoot and it had been a long day for the production crew. Yet, you would have never known it by the energy and attitude they all displayed.</p>
<p>Now, I already know what you are going to ask me…because since this shoot, I’ve been asked this a bunch of times. Is Courtney really as nice as she is on TV? No, she is not! She is even nicer than she is on TV. Hahaha I got yha- lol! Courtney and I hit it off from the start and within minutes we were sharing fashion and health tips, talking about her wedding, family life, and oh yes, of course about cars, engines and our favorite automotive products. The production crew (all guys) were cracking up listening to us.</p>
<p>Working as a model for over 12 years, I’ve worked with many beautiful woman…but I’m going to tell you, Courtney Hansen is one of the most beautiful, friendly, funny, and down to eath women I’ve ever worked with. Oh yea…and to top it off, she also extremely intelligent. Sorry guys, you’ll have to keep dreaming, because she is engaged and head over heels with her fiance – lucky man right?!</p>
