Your motorcycle clutch should be tough and according Brad Baker, the best clutch motorcycle riders can buy is the new EBC DRC F kit
Here’s our insight on the new DRC F clutch!
Ever since the first GNC race in Daytona Beach Florida we have been running the DRC F clutch in all of our Honda 450 race bikes.
The first benefit we noticed was a lot better feel over stock honda clutches, espically on the newer models.
The DRC F lets me slip the clutch out with ease allowing me to get ever bit of traction to the ground on the starting line. Which in flat track is one of the most important aspects of a race.
The second benefit we noticed was an actuall Horse power curve change on the dyno. Most all dyno runs we have done in the past we have noticed dips in our power curves do to clutch slipage.
Since running the DRC F clutch we have more linear power curves and havent experieced any sudden clutch slippage at low end power.
If the DRC F clutch withstands the punishment on the dyno we know it delivers us utimate horse power on the race track!
The third and final benefit we have indured with the DRC F clutch is durabilty.
After a full race season we pulled the cluches out of two of our race bikes. What we experienced was basically like looking at a brand new clutch!
There was barely any heat wear and the stack height wasnt affected at all.
Season heighlights
3rd place round 2 in Daytona Beach Florida
3rd place round 4 in Salinas California
3rd place round 13 in Castle Rock Washington
5th place in Grand National Singles Championship
2011 AMA Rookie of the Year
All in all the DRC F is a great clutch and we appreciate you letting us use it!
