Which Brake Pads and Brake Disc’s? “the obvious answer” according to Chris Wilsons co-pilot Marianella, is EBC Brakes
I am Chris Wilson’s co-pilot. I am one of the few women in a sport that traditionally has been for men (in my country).
Tarmac rallies never have been my favorites one, because they are really fast. Lack of confidence in breaks was a concern for me. That is why we started to look for a better option. We did not have chance to test the breaks before the rally. I was so so pleased and really impress with the quality of the breaks, never before we had such a good ones.
This time the rally was in a Volcano here in Costa Rica, which is very high (http://news.softpedia.com/newsImage/Top-33-Volcanoes-6.jpg/)
The fans that follow the rally, came up (after the competition) to tell us we were flying even though the hard conditions (weat and coming down the volcano) the answer was obvious…EBC brakes!!!Have a good day

Hi guys, i really need to say that day these guys were one of the fastest crew on the competition, they smoked that brakes every stage of the competition, with good results…. 2nd Place of the race! Congratulation guys!
I saw this team so happy during competition. When I went to the service area, they told me about the new brakes, and how this new brakes help them improve performance as can go faster relying on improved brakes. Congratulations to this team, they been doing great, occupaing outstanding positions on the rally. GO TICO/ENGLAND TEAM!!!!!!
I saw this team, and they performance was really really good, definitly one of the best raicings I have ever seen. Congratulations Guys!!!
I did mention the Red Stuff pads would be ideal for track days…so I did a track day to prove the point! After 5 laps of the tight and twisty Costa Rica track the brakes were fantastic out braking better street/race cars like BMW, Audi,Nssan ,Honda etc. So good were the brakes I left the braking to the last minute giving me a chance to overtake on the corners but after 15 laps the gearbox did not perform as good as the brakes! forcing our retirement. We will be back in action again soon!
