Motorcycle brake pads for Road Racing by EBC deliver results.
EBC Brakes sponsored rider Marc McCullough has once again achieved great results in Northern Ireland last week. Twenty three year old marine engineer Marc travelled to his home town of Mid-Antrim during his Birthday week to take part in the Ulster Grand Prix and Dundrod 150, the fastest road race in the world!
Marc had a wonderful qualifying race in the senior support race on his Yamaha 600cc R6 when he came 8th out of 23 riders, but the final race had to be cancelled disappointingly because of vandalism done to the track. Eventually Marc made the final race having qualified 9th out of 40 riders in the Dunrod 150 National. Even though the conditions were totally horrendous Marc managed to finish in sixth place and won a cash prize.
Marc also qualified for another event called the Dunrod Challenge but it didn’t go ahead because of bad weather. His personal best was a speed of 111.7mph and was raised to 112.9mph.
For the future Marc is hoping to improve his bike then take part in next years North West 200.
He is supported by his partner, Kara, 24, and their 16-month-old son, Brogan. He thanked EBC Brakes for their continued support.
