EBC Orangestuff Brake pads get thumbs up from Nissan GTR drivers

The new EBC Orangestuff brake pads are the follow on from the successful EBC Bluestuff NDX range which 95% of drivers have loved, there HAVE BEEN however a few cases where the (soon to be) R 90 street legal Bluestuff pads were pushed past their limits and the EBC R and D director guru Steve Payne set about his new task of designing a RACE ONLY pad to complement the EBC range.

After two months Steve came up with four possible solutions and choosing the best for its purpose EBC launched its testing phase with 48 drivers of the fastest cars they could find to prove the new EBC Orangestuff. These included, Impreza, EVO,Nissan GTR and many other models of track driving, 11 drivers of which are right now testing with as members of the Northloop group at the Nurburgring.

So far the results look promising. Not one complaint so far but its early days so we will be updating you.

I have to say i was really impressed with the EBC OrangeStuff which easily managed to slow the car up from an indicated 200mph on the clock with no fade noticed at all. I am quite happy to say that these pads really do seem to work very well and have a good enough bite, after a couple of pedal applications, to inspire confidence in them. The initial bite is no worse than stock pads but you really do notice the difference when they get hot.

At this time in the UK you can only obtain Orangestuff pads at this outlet……..
