Race 1.
20 cars lined up on the grid, and what a race followed, Dan got swamped by the rear wheel drive cars off the line to find himself 4th, Dave got a great start and held on to 7th and Peter got away in 10th. For the first 3 laps the field tried to settle down on this fast flowing circuit with Dan catching the cars ahead ending in a battle for 1st place with current champion Ollie Neaves, whilst Peter and Dave traded places with Peter Bramble, buy the later stages of the race the class B cars (Peter and Dave) had already got passed one of the V8’s in class C but were stuck behind another which just had the performance to pull itself up the hill. Then again being some 200+ kilos lighter than the ZS this is probably why.
Dan drove a blinding race as he was carrying ballast of 100 kilos making him heavier than the next car in his class buy over 200 kilos, but both cars run the same VHPD engine and driver ability shone through as by looking after his tyres he was able to over take in the complex on the last lap and leading Ollie through the rest of fast sweeping circuit to the line.
Dan finished P1 and first in class with a fastest lap of 131.880
Peter finished P7 2nd in class with a fastest lap of 135.078
Dave finished P9 3rd in class with a fastest lap of 135.126

Race 2
By now all drivers had a feel for the circuit and we expected the start to be as frantic as race 1, and it was. Dan was on pole and managed to minimise the cars getting past him as the fwd struggled for grip of the line. It is a very strange sound listening to MGB’s with launch control!.
All drivers got away however with one car struggling to get drive on the first corner evasive action was taken by all parties. Dave was cutting his way through the pack and managed to close down the V8’s, who’s wide sideways cornering style at 100mph made for an interesting view from behind. However after a few laps Peter was able to set up a clean move through Village to get passed and managed to stretch the legs of the V6, a circuit that you can use 5th gear on! Followed by a 4 lap chase and trading places with class V8 only to left behind up the hill. With great close racing with Peter Bramble in his MGB.
Dan had a much closer race with Ollie who was getting the most of his slick tyres and they traded places throughout the race, however as in race one smooth driving style of Dan paid dividends as he had full grip levels and was able to over take and lead Ollie to the flag again.
Dan finished P1 and first in class with a fastest lap of 130.434
Peter finished P7 2nd in class with a fastest lap of 135.125
Dave finished P10 4th in class with a fastest lap of 136.133
