EBC Brakes World Headquarters nears completion in Northampton UK

Maintaining its tradition of UK jobs and manufacture EBC Brakes nears conclusion of its rapid one year build of its new Northampton world HQ.
The new location houses three times the storage previously available at the UK location for rapid moving inventory and includes a three tiered mezzanine structure to add another 30,000 sq feet of storage and picking space for the rapidly expanding EBC product lines.
New operations include an upgraded motorcycle and automotive rotor machining facility and a totally new state of the art pressworks facility to produce automotive and motorcycle steel brake pad backing plates.
In a statement by current MD Andy Freeman the Company claims…
EBC produce the largest range of disc brake pads in the world and sometimes it is not easy to acquire backing plate steels in the open market fast enough r of an appropriate design.
Continuing EBC boss Andy Freeman states:
The new pressworks facility gives us the ability to tool new brake pads within days, to an optimised design using shadowgraph basics and re-engineering ideas that put us a full year ahead of our aftermarket competitors. We don’t just copy we engineer for purpose, innovate and improve.
EBC Brakes ranges include Greenstuff, Redstuff, Bluestuff NDX and the latest Orangestuff Brake pad formulations all designed and manufactured in the Company’s Bristol facility and EBC world famous Double-H brake pads and Prolite rotors for Motorcycles.
