Danny Eslick Win’s Second DSB Race at Mid Ohio & Laguna Seca Daytona SportBike Race – Leads Point’s!

Danny Eslick kicked some butt at both Mid-Ohio and Laguna Seca AMA National Roadrace’s, and look’s poised to take the 2011 AMA Pro Roadracing Daytona SportBike 600 Overall Championship with one race date. He has two races, left in the 2011 AMA RR Schedule at New Jersey Raceway on September 3 & 4 (Memorial Day Weekend).

“Slick” (as he is called), finished 3rd in the 1st Saturday, July 9th at Mid-Ohio AMA Pro Roadrace Daytona SportBike class and then backed that up with an overall WIN in Sunday’s, July 10th, Daytona SportBike Race.

RMR / Geico Suzuki Racing’s Danny Eslick headed into Laguna Seca this weekend with a 15 point lead towards the 2011 Daytona SportBike 600 Class and WON the shortened (2 Red flag – Race Stoppages) Laguna Seca AMA Pro Roadracing Daytona SportBike Class, yesterday, Sunday, July 24th!

Danny’s main competitor & rival in this class, Yamaha’s Tommy Aquino, DNF’ed the race with a Blown Motor.

So now Danny “Slick” Eslick & the RMR / Geico Suzuki Racing Team has a Large Points Lead of 45 point’s going into the last two races In New Jersey.

Basically Danny has to start & finish at least one fo these two Daytona SportBike Class races to claim his 2nd Daytona SportBike Championship.

Danny was also the DSB Class Champions back in 2009 riding the Buell.
