Racing brakes by EBC travel to Nuremberg and back for the Grand to Ring Challenge

The Grand Ring to Ring Challenge are a team of 14 friends who drove their cars to the Nuremberg Ring on a 1200 mile trip from Hinckley in Leisestershire via France & Belgium and back, to help raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of a colleague Paul Huddlestone who died of the illness last year at the age of 27. The challenge was undertaken by Jon, his brother and 12 other drivers in 6 teams who managed to raise over their target of £15,000. They have now gained a grand total of £16,154.81.
The mid 90′s saloon cars were rebuilt into a full visual replica of the British Touring Car Championship race cars by the dedicated 14 drivers, with their own money with a limit up to £1000. Jon and his brother had already exceeded the limit and contacted EBC Brakes to source some new brake pads for the front and rear of their car which originally came with Redstuff brake pads already fitted and been very happy with their performance. EBC sent on a set of Yellowstuff brake pads to help towards the lads challenge that have been fitted into a Peugeot 406 3.0GLX.
