VW R32 Brakes best results with EBC Yellowstuff according to driver Carl Hanson.

Carl recently installed Yellowstuff Brake pads and new discs on his R 32 and found them superb, here are his comments and a link to the website where this and other reviews can be seen:

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you directly. I read some of your posts on Pistonheads and took the liberty emailing you direct.

I have been doing some reading as I’m looking for some new pads for the front and rear of my 2003 Golf R32. I have OEM discs but are looking for some uprated pads to go with them as the OEM ones are pretty poor in my opinion for such a heavy car. I’ve used the Greenstuff pads on my previous
car and was more than happy with them. This time I’ll be looking at Redstuff brake pads
and especially Yellowstuff brake pads with good reviews on R32OC.com, which would you
recommend for “fast road” and the occasional track session?

Cheers!

Firstly, here is a link to my review on the R32 owners forum as promised
back in January, I’ll post it on other forums I frequent over the weekend.

I followed your tip to take it easy for 500 miles, which was no fun, but I’m
now reaping the rewards with a awesome stopping power!

Thanks very much for the pads and your advice, I’ll be sure to recommend EBC Brakes
to others in the future!

Cheers
Carl
