Race Driver prefers EBC over Ferodo DS2500

This is a report that came from one driver in Norway, we know its only ONE driver and there could have been system issues but the facts are, this driver took DS2500 off his car and replaced it with EBC Bluestuff NDX brake pads and was delighted with the results, same car, same system, direct comparison.

A dealer shared a feedback on some Ferodo DS2500 pads with us and asked for some better pads for Trackday on BMW, I gave them 2 sets of DP5689NDX free of charge for testing, I believe they will know where to buy trackday pads in the future after testing our Bluestuff NDX brake pads…(just waiting for some snow to go first).

The pads on attached pics are DS2500 used on BMW 5-series tuned cars with M5 E34 brakes, used on street & trackday for total of 1000km and they are not satisfied asking me for a better pad so I went straight for the NDX even if probably the Yellowstuff brake pads would do the job better than DS2500 as well!?

It has been very difficult to get in too some of these BMW guys with our pads as they all have been “addicted” to Ferodo – That starts to change slowly now with some of the guys tested Yellow R last season with very good feedback – and now coming season when we have the NDX I expect more of these guys will Convert to EBC.
