EBC Brakes in New Zealand

EBC Brakes are the number one aftermarket brand of brakes and have a strong presence in New Zealand in Magazines such as Kiwirider. New Zealand has a crafty way of producing some of the most talented racers in the world and we remember well working with legends such as Des Barry, World F2 Champion in the years past and TT winner Dennis Ireland. We also sadly remember one of the nicest guys ever to grace the sport Kenny Blake who died at the TT. I was on the Island doing timing for Tony Rutter that year and remember the commentary on Kenny, who was actually not an EBC rider, being very positive, praising his speed and style over the Isle of Man Mountain circuit. Kenny’s family were over there with him and I cannot imagine their grief that day when Kenny didn’t make the next lap.

There has always been a mixture of good and bad news from the Island and EBC Brakes salutes the tough and fearless riders from New Zealand who have conquered the Island course. The list goes on, there are many more Kiwis to remember not listed here that have helped EBC develop its brakes and form part of the history of EBC, now the worlds number one brand in brakes and growing every year.
