Wow these new EBC brake pads are fantastic says Joe Davenport
This is Joe Davenport. You sent me a set of the Bluestuff NDX brake pads for my 2002 Corvette Z06 and you wanted feed-back after a track day. Well, here it is:
The pads were great on the street with initial bite being strong. Dusting conditions were low and there was NO squeal for a race pad… which was great! Over-all I was happy with a street pad being a race pad.
My track day event was last Sunday at PBIR in West Palm Beach, Florida. First session went great with NO fade at all. Upon the start of the second session, the pads seemed slow to react when cold. Once the pads came up to temperature… 1 lap or so, the pads worked well once again with no fade. The rest of 2 sessions (3&4) proved to behave in the same manner as session two. The day was HOT (95°) and I was breaking very, very hard!
