Remy Gardner in Action
Team Gardner celebrated another successful weekend of racing, with two top step podium finishes, two seconds and a third between them.

More than 100 riders took advantage of the opportunity to set themselves up for the 2010 Honda Australian Junior Track Championships being held at the Central Coast in October.

Remy, Luca and Josh all had success on the weekend, each of them taking home a trophy or two. Remy and Josh, along with all winners on the day proudly celebrated their wins with a chequered flag victory lap.

Famous sports commentator Darrell Eastlake called in for a few hours to cheer on Team Gardner and experience some exciting racing at his local track.

All in all it was a great weekend of racing, testing and preparing for the Honda Australian Junior Track Championships on 8-10 October. Well done to the Central Coast Junior Motorcycle Club for putting on an excellent event and all the competitors for a great weekend of impressive and close racing.

“We did a good bit of testing this weekend and Remy and I really feel like we’ve made some headway with the set up of the CR85. Things aren’t perfect yet, but I expect we’ll be ready for the Aussie titles,” said Wayne. “We tried a few things with the 150, but Rem really feels comfortable on it as is, so we’ll leave it alone now. We just needed to get to know the 2 stroke a bit better, and I think we’re starting to do that. Luca’s 80 will get refreshed before the titles too, but it’s generally a great little bike,” he added.

For the first time Josh also competed in the Junior Central Coast Cup race on a
250cc. Incredibly he finished this hard fought event in 5th place. Congratulations
