Latest EBC Bluestuff NDX Brakes Impresses Driver Rod Dykhouse

I have installed the Bluestuff NDX brakes along with a new set of rotors on my car. The initial testing and break in were done at Infineon race track, Sears Point, CA. I read the break in directions and noted that an additional 10 – 15 moderate applications were required over the Yellowstuff brakes. Outside air temperature was 77 degrees F. I made either 27 or 28 brake applications from 80 m.p.h. down to 50 m.p.h. and a final application from 100 m.p.h. down to approximately 20 m.p.h. then parked the car and let the brakes cool.
On the second test session of the day approximately one hour later I took the car out and the brakes worked great immediately. I feel that the Bluestuff NDX brakes are a much better pad than the Yellowstuff brakes. The amount of brake pedal pressure required is less than the Yellowstuff and is very comparable to the Hawk blue pad that I had been running.
I ran the rest of the weekend without a second thought to the brakes unlike the Yellowstuff brake pads which gave me some concerns. I have two test sessions, one practice, two qualifiers, and two races on these pads now. We have two race weekends remaining is this season. After the season ends I will send you an additional e-mail with wear measurements etc.
