Greenstuff – 2000 Series
Premium Street Pad |
Since EBC Brakes launched its sport range in 1997 EBC Greenstuff has sold well over 3 million sets of performance automotive brakes all over the world and has become the number one selling EBC sport pad. Appreciated by drivers of cars up to 200 BHP year 2009 sees the launch of the 9th version of EBC 2000 series Greenstuff which has once again pushed the performance barriers of organic friction materials. The latest version of Greenstuff is a deliberately softer compound to improve pedal feel on lighter cars at lower speeds. This resulted in a medium dust material with good lifetime and minimal rotor wear. |

Manufactured using premium disc blanks, the unique wide aperture slots in the EBC sport rotor actually draw cool air under the pad during heavy braking and reduce brake temperatures whilst also helping remove dirt, dust and debris and gasses created by heavy braking from the pad contact area. They also improve braking in off road conditions of wet, mud or sand and as such are a great choice for 4×4 vehicles. Blind drilled holes eliminate the chance of rotor cracking which is common with “through drilled” or completely drilled vent holes.

The EBC green were my first brake pads bought to EBC.
The brake-in TM coating helps a lot.
My car is safer on braking in traffic and for “fast” street cruise. On short circuit sessions, you’ll learn easily how to manage braking, specially on decrease/release point. Perfect for beginners. For average pilots and longer sessions I’d recommend EBC REDstuff. I forget to mention that I’m still on OEM disc rotors.
