There are TWO reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90%. Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fibre particles as in ALL OTHER pads. Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.
This material is a Kevlar® fibre based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC Redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, it brakes better and is quieter.
Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.
It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50% dust reduction.

Love the redstuff on my BMW. Had some dusty OEM pads on before and the redstuff pads can’t compare. These are one of the best pads I’ve ever used.

I contacted EBC brakes about pads for my 2008 Cobalt SS. Andy Freeman replied to we with an offer to test fit some pads for free since they currently had no pads for my application. As payment for my troubles I got to keep the pads. The pads arrived in less than a week and they fit great. I provided him with installed pictures and other information about fitment. I then inquired about the rear pads for my car and gave him some information about another car that was supposed to also fit my application. He sent me those pads as well as another style for me to test fit on the rear of the car. Turns out, I was right and the ones I suggested were the ones that fit. I got both sets of pads installed after a new set of rotors for the rear and turning the front. The car stops better than it ever did. I would definitely recommend EBC to others. Their product (at least the red stuff pads) work great and their customer service is outstanding.

Excellent performance, great stopping power, very firm paddle feel. No noise. Dust only appears on wheels after 1 month of driving. The only problem I notice is that the pad made a rough front disc surface.
