An excellent solution for 4×4 use, this heavy duty Greenstuff formulation has slightly lower friction than its 2000 series counterpart (average friction coefficient 0.45mm) but has the benefit of longer life and better resistance to offroad conditions of dust and sand etc. It has an extremely low rotor wear factor and medium-to-good lifetime.

Four years ago I purchased new slotted/dimpled rotors and green stuff pads for the front brakes of my Buick Park Avenue. (I sold it a year later to go overseas.) It was not a sports car, but a great 79.667 mph interstate car. What a serious improvement in stopping power and confidence after adding the EBC rotors and pads. I’m sure they are great for sports cars, but if you drive a large heavy car or SUV, you will never regret replacing your factory (or Chinese made replacement) pads and rotors with the EBC brand. Now I’m returning to the States and in the market for a new (used) Buick – I hope the brakes are worn out on my “new” car so I can immediately install the EBC brakes without feeling wasteful. Highly recommended – a painless way to increase driving pleasure, confidence, and safety. |
