Race Report by Brian Hulsey – Winner of the 2009 ATV Heartland Challange in the Pro-Am Class

Team Locked N Loaded/Dirtworks/Texteria (Josh Eaton, Bryan Hulsey & Todd Senger) took a convincing win at the 2009 ATV Heartland Challange in the Pro-Am Class. They started off the grueling event in the right way with the early lead with Josh Eaton starting for the team and grabbing the Pro-Am holeshot abord his Dirtworks Motorsports/Fox Racing Shocks TRX450R. The stratagey was from the beginning, for each rider to ride for 4 laps at a time which was approximately 1 hour each scession. By about the 5 hour mark they had streached out a almost 1 lap lead over the 2nd place Pro-Am team. Around the 6 hour mark Bryan Hulsey made the switch from Josh Eatons day time quad with no lights (which performed perfectly) to his Dirtworks Motorsports / EBC Brakes backed TRX450R that was eqiupped with lights. They continued to hold the 1 lap advantage well into the night with absolutely no problems from the first night quad. The main focus at this time was to preserve the bike at all cost and make sure that they finish. With time running down and tension mounting as laps wore on, the decision was made that Todd Senger make another switch and would finish the last hour of the race on the remaining night quad which was Todd Sengers Dirtworks Motorsports backed Fox Racing Shocks equipped TRX450R.
